Wolfgang Stegmüller

Born in Munich, 1944

Completed high school, then studied Philosophy, Philosophy of Science and Linguistics at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich.

Since he was 27 years of age, has worked as a freelance management consultant and manager-owned enterprise in the construction industry.

Learned to play the cello at 6 years of age, teachers have included Gerhard Hall, Prof. Gemeinhardt and Prof. Peter Buck (cellist of the Melos Quartet).

Born in Munich, 1984

After completing primary and secondary school with high school and then community service, he then completed a 4-year apprenticeship as a violinmaker at the State International Violinmaking School "Antonio Stradivari in Cremona, Italy, receiving his diploma in 2009.

Since 2009 he has had his own workshop in Cremona and works as an independent contractor in the workshop of his father, Wolfgang Stegmüller in Munich. He is specialized in the construction and development of conical string instruments under patent DE 10 2004 007 613
